Welcome to Lin! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the iamlin.com website, the dashboard.iamlin.com application, and the services provided (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is offered by Matheus Rezende Figueira, located at 57 quai de Grenelle, 75015 Paris, France ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and representing that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS.

Lin is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides an automation platform to connect third-party internationalization (i18n) platforms (e.g., Lokalise) and internal communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams). The Service processes webhook notifications for translation key updates, provides AI-powered translation suggestions, and allows users to manage and submit localization tasks directly from their chat client.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.

a. Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep this information up-to-date. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

b. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

a. Plans and Trial

We offer the Service under various subscription plans as detailed on our website (`iamlin.com`). We may offer a one-time, 7-day free trial to new organizations. Upon the expiration of the trial period, your access to the Service will be suspended unless you purchase a paid subscription.

b. Billing and Payments

We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, for all billing. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to provide Stripe with accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your selected payment method for your chosen plan (either monthly or annually) plus any applicable taxes. You agree to be bound by Stripe's terms and conditions.

c. Automatic Renewal

All paid subscriptions will automatically renew for the same duration as the original subscription term unless you cancel your subscription through your account's billing settings before the end of the current term.

d. User Roles and Permissions

The Service provides for the following user roles within an organization:

• OWNER: The Owner has full administrative control over the organization's account. This includes the ability to manage users, platform connections, project settings, billing, and to delete the organization's account.
• ADMIN: An Admin can manage users, platform connections, and project settings. An Admin cannot manage billing or delete the organization's account.
• CONTRIBUTOR: A Contributor can use the core features of the Service, such as interacting with translation notifications, but cannot manage users, billing, or any organizational settings.

e. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. If you cancel a paid subscription, you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your prepaid billing period. Upon the end of your subscription or trial, your account will become inactive. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service with notice if you are in breach of these Terms.

f. Data Retention on Termination

Following the deactivation of your account due to an expired trial or canceled subscription, we will retain your User Content and account configurations for a grace period of ninety (90) days. After this period, we reserve the right to permanently delete all your data from our systems.

a. Your Content

You and your organization retain all ownership rights to the content you provide to the Service, including but not limited to source text, translation keys, submitted translations, API keys, and data from your connected platforms ("User Content").

b. License to Us

To provide and improve the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to access, use, process, store, and transmit your User Content. This license is solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service. This includes transmitting your content to third-party services you have authorized, such as i18n platforms, communication platforms, and AI providers for translation suggestions.

c. Use of Anonymized Data

You grant us a license to use your User Content in an aggregated and anonymized form for the purposes of analytics, reporting, and improving the functionality and features of the Service. We will never use your specific, identifiable User Content for these purposes without your explicit consent.

a. Third-Party Platforms

The Service requires you to connect third-party platforms (e.g., Lokalise, Slack, Google, Microsoft Teams, Stripe). Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data handling, security, or practices of any third-party platform.

b. AI-Powered Suggestions

Certain subscription plans may use third-party AI service providers (e.g., OpenAI) to generate translation suggestions. To provide this feature, we will send relevant User Content (such as source text) to these providers. Your use of this feature constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement that this content will be processed by such third parties. We are not responsible for the data handling practices of these AI providers.

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system or network.
• Breaching or otherwise circumventing any security or authentication measures.
• Interfering with or disrupting any user, host, or network.
• Storing or transmitting any content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the rights of third parties.
• Reverse engineering or decompiling the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS FOR THE SERVICES IN QUESTION.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Paris, France (Tribunal de Commerce de Paris).

a. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of changes by posting the updated Terms on our website (`iamlin.com`). Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.

b. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
